IS YOUR CHILD A DEEP THINKER?

Thoughts of a child.

                                                          WHO AM I
I’m a puzzle, you get bits and pieces of the image, but you don’t get the picture until you know me. I appear to be shy and quiet, but I’m not, I just simply like to listen and perceive what others have to say. I am courteous and tolerant. To be quite honest, I have the gift to gab. Once I find a conversation I would like to elaborate on, I will literally talk someone’s ears off.
I am a person who is ready to lend a hand to the folks who need it; to give loyal advice. I am easy to talk to and friendly (on rare occasions). People can tell me anything and I guarantee an answer or a solution back, and if I don’t have one I will make sure you get one. I am very determined. On the other hand I am quite comical, but I know when to be and when not to be.
I am a storm cloud; soaking up everything and waiting for the right time unleash it all. When I go outside at nightfall, the stars beckon me to look at up at them in the vast black and blue sky speckled with millions of them. I look up there and I see so many questions, but no answers. So I like to pursue answers, but I have so many questions I don’t have enough mouths or hands to get them all out.
I am quite a whiz kid; I can’t help questioning every speck of existence. My family says I am an old soul in a 13 year olds body. School is second nature to me and I appreciate it and everyone in it very much. Writing flows through my fingertips as fluently as spreading peanut butter on toast. When I read I become a character. Algebra and science unleashes volcanic eruptions of questions to ask and civics prepares me to be great citizen.
My only fear is being lonely. I am scared of losing all I have, all I’ve done, all I have loved. I am very grateful for everything and I don’t want to lose it. “Some people don’t know what they have until it’s gone.” Luckily I’m not alone. I have a herd of siblings. Herd is the right word to describe my rambunctious brothers and sisters. I am the only civilized one.
The inner beauty is more important than the outer beauty and this is why this is last. I am the caramel of a Twix. Sweet, smooth, and always seems to be in the middle of things. My soil colored eyes so deep and full, you’d think I was looking beyond the universe. My features will have your jaw hanging low. The color of the dancing dandelions on a warm breezy day, the color of the annoying buzzing bees, and the exhilarant color of the big ball of gas hovering above us is my favorite color. It’s Bright. It’s Bold. It’s Beautiful. It’s ME!
I am Kay Lynn Marie
